We are called to Proclaim Jesus our Saviour
Intercession of Fr Jordan
Jesus, Saviour of the World, You have given your servant Francis the gift of deep and strong faith, unwavering hope and heroic love for God and neighbour and a strong desire for the salvation of souls.
Count him already here on earth among your blessed ones and through his intercession grant us what we humbly ask for. You, who live and reign for ever and ever.
AMEN

The diversity and unity of the vast Catholic Diocese of Port Pirie was on show for a worldwide audience at the installation ceremony of Bishop Karol Kulczycki SDS today.
Salvatorians and youth from Salvatorian parishes wanted to show their support for Bishop Elect Karol in the lead up to his episcopal ordination in Poland, in September 2020. Due to the current coronavirus restrictions, we were unable to be there physically to support him, however we were able to find a "virtual" way to spiritually support him.
Please join with us in praying a rosary for Bishop-Elect Karol and his ministry.
Pope Francis has this evening appointed Fr Karol Kulczycki SDS, the former head of the Salvatorians in Australia, as the new bishop of the Diocese of Port Pirie in regional South Australia.
We are happy to announce that the Holy Father Francis appointed
Fr. Karol Kulczycki SDS

On the 8th of August 2019 two Vietnamese seminarians landed in Australia to complete their pastoral placement as part of their ongoing studies to enter the priesthood. These seminarians are members of the religious congregation the Society of the Divine Saviour, or Salvatorians as they are more commonly known, which is an international congregation ministering in many countries across the world. One of these seminarians, Deacon Paul Tran Van Duong SDS, has been serving in Gosford Parish on the New South Wales Central Coast since late 2019.
The Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF) is the largest gathering of Catholic youth in our country. It has been held in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney, and in 2019 it was hosted by Western Australia in Perth. For many attendees, this is an opportunity to experience the universal Church in ways they may have never seen within their smaller parish communities, and to encounter Christ anew.
“We have so many Holy Orders of the Church – Each of these religious families in the Church help’s us to remember that diversity is not the opposite of unity, in fact diversity and unity go together.
“Together we gather around the local and wider Society of the Divine Savior family, and we the Archdiocese of Perth are richly blessed by the presence of the Salvatorians who care so well for a significant number of parishes here in the west, as people deeply immersed in the charism you have been given through the life, work and holiness of your founder Father Jordan.”

As long as there is one person on earth who does not know God and does not love Him above all things, you dare not allow yourself a moment’s rest. As long as God is not everywhere glorified, you dare not allow yourself a moment’s rest.
