vows2014

On Monday, September 8, 2014, was a special day of the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the 96th anniversary of the death of the Servant of God Father Francis Jordan - founder of the Society of the Divine Saviour. Additionally the same day at 10am in the parish church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Bagno (Poland), Salvatorian seminarians and brothers renewed for another year their temporary professions of vows.

Furthermore, the five novices made their first religious profession, and seven seminarians - perpetual vows. Salvatorian priests, brothers and sisters, local parishioners, nuns, close families, relatives and friends attended the ceremony. The day before, on Sunday at 5pm in the chapel of the Seminary in Bagno during the celebration of the Holy Mass, five novices received Salvatorian religious habit, and ten candidates were admitted and began a yearly novitiate. This year, also 20 Salvatorian priests have celebrated their anniversaries of religious professions in our Society. These Salvatorian priests thank to God for 25, 50, and 60 years of religious life in our Society. Let us congratulate to all who professed & jubilarians and surround them in our daily prayers.
