New Salvatorian Priests 2013

pl ordination 2013

On May 25th 2013 seven Salvatorian Deacons were ordained to the Priesthood by the Most Reverend Archbishop Mieczysław Mokrzycki. The solemn celebration took place in Trzebinia (Poland), at the Basilica of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

An extraordinary man, Father Francis Mary of the Cross Jordan, influenced by the words from the John's Gospel: "This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ" began the timeless work, still continued today by the members of the Salvatorian Family. The Priests play here a special role: they preach the Word and administer the Sacraments.

The ceremony was attended by parents, relatives and friends of the ordained, parish priests and pastors of their parishes and many members of our Salvatorian Society. The Metropolitan Archbishop of Lvov ordained also to the Temporary Deaconate two students from the Salvatorian Major Seminary.

On the 31st of May in the church of the Divine Saviour in Krakow-Zakrzówek newly ordained priests will receive the decrees from their Provincial Superior, specifying their first apostolic tasks.
